Alright all, the Purple Purse Challenge is over! The official results aren't in, but unofficially, we raised $14,735, and ended in 6th place (!!!). We'll keep you posted on the official results.

Okay, now we're SURE we're on a winning streak. For the third week in a row, we won a bonus challenge! You guys are amazing – seriously, thank you!

One of our favorite things the past few weeks has been giving back to you guys. It’s the final week of the Purple Purse Challenge! We know that this fundraiser is a beast, so we were trying to think of what people want after doing something BIG...

Food, obviously. The answer is food. So, we are going HARD: we've got a chocolate cake from Bakery Nouveau, one of Tom Douglas's amazing coconut cream pies from Dahlia Bakery, AND, a $25 gift card to Pagliacci Pizza! (Annnnd we're drooling.)

Just over halfway through week 3 and we wanted to thank you all so much for following along with us, and for continuing to donate and spread the word. We are so appreciative, and we know our clients are, too.

Like most nonprofits, we rely on donations, and so that aspect of this fundraising challenge has of course been tremendous for us. But another really wonderful side effect is that it allows us to connect with folks who support and believe in our work. We've received so many encouraging texts and emails from so many of you, which has been so energizing and motivating for us. Throughout this entire challenge, we have been continuously in awe of the support we have received from friends, family, colleagues, and even complete strangers. So, from the bottom of our hearts, thank you. ❤️

Can two be considered a streak? Because, we are pretty sure we're on a winning streak over here. Not only did we win the week 1 bonus promotion, but WE ALSO WON THE WEEK 2 BONUS PROMOTION! Thanks to you guys, last week alone, we raised just under $7,000, and WON $5,000! Amazing!

Week 3 Update!

We're at the halfway point of the Purple Purse Challenge! You all showed up big for us during week 2, so we’re hopeful that we won one of the $5,000 bonus challenge grants. We’ll keep you posted on that!

For week 3, which starts now, the three organizations with the most individual donors will each win $5,000! If each of you donated $10, and got a friend or two (or ten) to do the same, we'd almost certainly win $5,000! So, what do you say – will you help us turn $10 into $5,000?

We've got another $25 gift card from our friends at Caffe Ladro AND a gift basket fullll of non-perishables from Trader Joe's. This thing is no joke, you guys.

For every $10 donated (that's right, $10 – meaning everyone who donates has a chance), you’ll be entered to win each of these goodies! Two winners will be selected next week!

Week 1 Update!

Alright, all! Week 1 of the Purple Purse Challenge has come to an end. Together, we raised $3,050 – which puts us in third place for our division, and also gets us three entries to win $2,500! (Remember, every $1,000 raised earned organizations a chance to win $2,500). We'll keep you posted on that, as well as the winners of the BarkBox and Salty's gift card.

Week 2 starts NOW, and the bonus challenge is so so good, you guys: the four organizations that raise the most this week will each win $5,000!

We've got some more fun stuff for you again this week, and we're going to keep the pet theme going, cool? Our friends at All the Best donated a lovely basket with a ton of goodies for your furry friend, and we also have a $25 gift card from the best coffee shop in Seattle (Caffe Ladro, duh). Once again, for every $25 donated, you’ll be entered to win these goodies! Two winners will be selected next week!

Lastly, don't forget: every $50 donated gets you an entry to win the two fabulous purple purses, pictured below. These beauts were designed by Serena Williams and Kerry Washington, respectively.

The Purple Purse Challenge is LIVE!

Okay, all, today is the day! The Purple Purse Challenge is OFFICIALLY under way, and we are so excited! As a reminder, the organization that raises the most at the end of the month wins $100,000! 2nd–5th place organizations will go home with anywhere between $50,000 and $5,000, too! Additionally (yep, there’s more!) there are weekly bonus promotions, which means more opportunities to win 💰💰💰! 

Last year, you all were so instrumental in our success, and we’re hoping that we can count on you again this year. To sweeten the deal a bit, we’ve got some great prizes, including a BarkBox subscription, baskets full of goodies from Trader Joe's and All the Best, and a slew of gift cards and certificates! We also have not one but TWO purple purses up for grabs this year. One was designed by tennis superstar (GOAT) Serena Williams, and the other was designed by THE gladiator, Kerry Washington. For every $50 donated, you’ll be entered to win one of these bags.

SWOON, right? We’re crossing our fingers for you 😊
